The PD9160A is a 60 amp converter charger specifically designed for recreational vehicles, offering dependable filtered DC power for 12-volt lighting and appliance circuits. In addition, the PD9160 includes essential safety features like electronic current limiting, reverse battery protection, high and low voltage safeguards, and automatic shut down in case of high temperature. It also has a TCMS (Total Charge Management System) connector for easy installation of the Charge Wizard, a microprocessor-controlled add-on that constantly monitors battery voltage and usage for efficient and safe recharging. With the Charge Wizard, users can choose from three charging voltages and four operating modes depending on battery condition and usage.
