The Suburban SW6DE Gas Water Heater is a reliable and low-maintenance choice. With a high-recovery rate of 12,000 BTU/hour, this model comes equipped with a porcelain steel tank, foam insulation, a large diameter drain, and a replaceable anode rod that fights against corrosive electrolysis. The one-piece, die-formed housing allows for easy access and protects the controls and connections, while fitting into prior model cut-out openings. For faster recovery, this model can use both gas and electric (1440-watt Incoloy element) simultaneously, resulting in a 6.1 gallons per hour recovery rate. For an even quicker recovery rate of 16.2 gallons per hour, both the gas and electric options can be used together.

The gas ignition for this water heater is operated through a switch that is conveniently mounted on the interior of your RV. Please note, the switch must be purchased separately.
